Unexpected scenarios can cause changes in plans at times. We ensure to carry out such situations smoothly without causing any hassle to customers. This policy states how we handle alterations, cancellations, or refund requests. We ensure transparency, maintaining the respect for your trust you place in us.
1. Cancellation by the Traveler
The customer must request cancellation in writing to our official email address (contact@compasztours.com). Cancellations are only considered valid once acknowledged and confirmed by our team.

- All bookings are subject to the terms of third-party providers, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other vendors.
- Some bookings are non-refundable due to supplier conditions or include promotional pricing.
2. Standard Cancellation Fee Structure
Unless otherwise stated during booking, the following cancellation charges apply to most services:
- 31 days or more before the travel date – 10% of the total booking amount
- 15 to 30 days before the travel date – 25% of the total booking amount
- 8 to 14 days before the travel date – 50% of the total booking amount
- 0 to 7 days before the travel date or in case of a no-show – 100% of the total booking amount
Note: Airfare, visa fees, insurance, and any services marked as “Non-Refundable” are not eligible for any refund.
3. Refund Conditions
Refunds are processed only after we receive formal cancellation and complete verification with all third-party vendors involved. All refunds may have certain amounts deducted for:
- Non-refundable segments (Flights, Visa, Insurance, or Hotel)
- Payment gateway and service charges
- Supplier penalties (if applicable)

- Processing Time: The refund process may take 10-15 working days to settle.
- Refund Method: the refund amount gets settled to the original payment sources like UPI, banks, or cards.
4. Situations Where Refunds are Not Applicable
- If you cancel after the departure date.
- You fail to appear (no-show) for any booked service.
- You leave a tour mid-way or voluntarily skip services.
- If your provided documents are incorrect (e.g. invalid passport, a rejected visa).
- If you cancel services that are booked during peak season or under non-refundable options.
5. Changes and Rescheduling
Any request for alterations in dates, destination, or traveller names will be checked thoroughly and may be subject to:
- Supplier approval
- Availability
- Additional charges (if applicable)
We encourage early communication if your plans change.
6. Modifications or Cancellations by Us
It is not common, but we might have to cancel or modify your trip because of unexpected scenarios like government rules, natural disasters, low group bookings, or global emergencies.
In such cases, we will offer:
- An alternative trip or new date, or
- A full/partial refund, depending on the stage of the booking
We are not responsible for losses outside our control, such as visa costs, insurance, or independent bookings.
7. No Convenience Charges
We do not charge any convenience fees on cancellations or refunds. You’ll only pay any applicable third-party or supplier charges as per our policy.
8. Force Majeure Clause
Any modifications, delays, or cancellations caused due to unexpected issues that are out of our control, we, Compasz Tour Private Limited, will not be held responsible.
- Natural disasters.
- Strikes, wars, or protests.
- Outbreaks like pandemics or epidemics.
- Restrictions by government authorities.
Refunds in such scenarios are subject to third-party policies, and we will assist you in getting the best possible resolution.
9. Custom & Group Bookings
Group tours and tailor-made travel packages often involve advance commitments. Therefore:
- Deposits for group bookings are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified.
- Custom packages have separate cancellation rules outlined at the time of quotation or contract.
